Music Lessons

Music is a compulsory element of the National Curriculum for both KS1 and KS2 education and although most primary school teachers do have experience with music, for many it is not part of their normal skill set. Outsourcing music lessons allows for a higher calibre of musical education and support for gifted and talented children, whilst helping you as a school with your PPA provision.

All lessons are planned in line with the national curriculum and planned around QCA schemes of work using Music Express resources as appropriate.

Pupils are encouraged to develop the core skills as outlined in the National Curriculum of performing, composing and appraising. This is achieved through singing, playing instruments, creating musical patterns, improving their own work and analysing and improving sounds.

All of our music tutors are highly talented and qualified in at least one music discipline. As with all of our coach’s music tutors hold enhanced CRB disclosures, first aid certificates and have previous experience working with children.
